On 1 October 2021, Toll Global Forwarding's activities in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, were moved to our new premise in Waalhaven.

"In light of our customers' growth, international market developments, and Toll's strategy, it is time for us to take the next step and move into a larger facility. This move enables us to provide our current and new partners with more space, improved operational efficiency, and a more extensive service package," says Arjan-Olivir van der Woning, Vice President, the Netherlands, Toll Global Forwarding.

Waalhaven is at the heart of Rotterdam's maritime – close to industrial areas where shippers are located and well-connected to vital roads. The facility, built with the necessary safety requirements in mind, offers 4,200 m2 of bonded warehousing. In addition, the building was constructed with a view to the future. The building is very well insulated and fully equipped with solar panels. It is also fitted with energy-efficient solutions such as smart lighting and room-specific climate control.

Toll's presence in the Netherlands includes an office at Schiphol-Rijk, from where airfreight activities are coordinated. In this way, Toll can offer a wide range of services – international air and ocean freight, warehousing and 3PL services, distribution, and in-house customs brokerage, to our customers.
